Common Church
The Common Church movement first swept across the world a few centuries ago, based on the simple concept that all the major world religions had more in common than different. 8 gods, divinely gifted clerics, and a common desire to do good in the world.
Pioneered by the extremely charismatic Clc Huwen Clocke, Common Church was based on a desire to step church back to its essentials and create a meeting place that could welcome anyone. It's not without its critics, of course - many have observed that the 'essentials' of common Church look a lot like Clc Clocke's own native Ferfydden church - but for many, the promise of a simpler church, free of the accumulations of centuries of tradition, seemed appealing.
